I kinda remembered the good ol days
AND HIGH SCHOOL!!!!

am reading this great book by mr bob ong...entitled abnkkbsknplako...it brought alot of great memories...from high school that is...yeah, i remembered the days, it was really so fun, considering am such a nerd that time, well not really, but i was forced to, was a scholar and recieving an allowance from the government, but in return i have to maintain a 2.0 average or else, am dumped out of "that special" school. well in totality, i did not really enjoy high school but i had some great friends there, and it mold me to be the person that i really wanted to be....well sometimes, hehehe

i miss the days when all that keeps you worrying are the projects that needed the utmost importance...the books that need to be read...the recitations, the tests, the exams and quizzes that really needed to be passed. was kinda pressured at times and not being able the normal high schooler that iam..and that i wanted to be, but i guess i kinda enjoyed the thought that my family and most of the people around me look up at me and i enjoyed the limelight and am kinda proud and kinda loud bout it hehehe....But anyways

So reading the book brought back a lot of memories from being a student here in Manila, and the things that you do way, way back...you can't help but notice what changes has the technology and the people around gave you now. Before having a telephone line in your house is such a big deal...now, people will laugh at you if you don't own a celphone, and a text addict...and seriously...it kinda haunted me not havin a celphone after college...hahahah

The language is simple and conversational. What makes the book such a hit is that it's reality. The scenes hit so close to home that they seem to jump out of the pages. Anyone, absolutely anyone, can definitely relate to this book....i needed a breather from the stress of work and the complicated people and lifestyle am havin lately. So reading the book during my off kinda gave me a good smile in a long while.

Thanks Bob Ong (the author), you gave me the hope am needing in these hey days of my life...being a Filipino that Iam, I will learn again that life is too short to be so critical on myself...and to be dwelling on the negative side of life.

I'll be damn serious bout life but I guess I need to spice up my life with some humor sometimes.....Filipino humor that is!

Seriously.....
