been in hibernation for 4 great days!!!!

hey peeps, havent really blogging the past few days because i went on vacation leave the past few days, well 2 days to be exact, after my two day offs. so i have been away from the american peeps, they got rid of me if i may say..heheh, so..am here, blogging as much as i used to and updating my life. but hey this time am not sentimental or melodramatic, maybe the mood is still festive since i went to lucban quezon last sunday and just celebrated pahiyas festival...
i think i needed that, well aside from the fact that i have been worrying bout a lot of things, especially matters of the heart, (sappy me!) well, i needed a breather away from work, away from the city life...so off i went to lucban quezon, for the pahiyas festival which is 3 hours away from manila. actually, it turned out to be an almost 5 hour drive since it was freaking traffic on our way there...
i was pretty excited bout this trip, i havent really made plans, but it was on my mind to comeback there after going there the first time 2 years ago with my friends, i really enjoyed the first time, wherein you get to see homes, with different colors, designed specifically of fruits, vegetables, and kipings. it was really an enjoyable sight, though so far away from manila, i loved the idea of filipino ingenuity and how artistic the people are there, imagine even little kids, get to participate in designing their houses....like wow!
this time it was just me my sis che, and chelo who went there, i was excited to be with them since it is their first time there,i wanted to share to them the experience where you get tired and all walking house by house, street by street and with the sun so up and shining, but you can just shrug those complains and just enjoy the moment, the sight, and wonder and even try to ask yourself, wow...how did they do that???. and im relieved that they did not complain of walking or even of the sun shining on our bare skins, but also enjoyed the moment!like me! see...i pick people to go there with me inspite of the long trip and the weather, and enjoyed everything, the sight, the sound the smell, and even the pansit habhab! it was a lot of fun and great experience!
what i just regret is that i did not brought with me enough cash so that i can buy more pasalubongs, since there were no atm's around there, not even one...sheiks! i missed buying lucban longanisa for my friends and folks...i feel bad, but hey, am still going there, who knows, next year when i am still around here, as long as am in pinas, pahiyas festival will be a ritual for me...
atleast in a way the colorful thingy around lucban made my day....and it kinda remind me that hey d, there is a life out there for me...after the break up...so, it kinda made me smile....i just hope it would be as colorful as the lucban streets....
pics to follow....
ciao for now!
